Outreach service details

POST Office Ltd has confirmed details of the Outreach Services which will replace five branches due to close under its plans for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight - including St Mary Bourne.

In each case customers will still be able to access Post Office services locally but the Post Office is now seeking feedback on the specific Outreach Service that will replace each of the branches.

The purpose of the further public consultation is to ensure appropriate Outreach Services are put in place to replace the closing branches.

A six-week public consultation began last week and all representations should be received by 17 June.

It's intended the existing branches will remain open until the replacement service is in place.

In St Mary Bourne a partner service located at the current Post Office site will replace the existing branch. It will offer a range of the most commonly used Post Office products and services and will operate on Monday to Friday mornings from 8am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm in the afternoon. On Saturday the service will be available from 8am to 1pm Anyone who wants to express a view should write to Tim Nickolls, Network Development Manager, C/o National Consultation Team, FREEPOST CONSULTATION TEAM. Alternatively email consultation@postoffice.co.uk or call the Post Office Ltd Customer Helpline: 08457 22 33 44.
